If the patrol person was removed for budgetary reasons it is disgusting, surely the children's safety should be paramount. There isn't much parking close to the school and unfortunately some people are not very considerate about where they park either which both breaks the law and further puts children's lives at risk. Maybe having the crossing guard back would also make people think twice about where they park. Please sign and pass on to raise awareness.

As community worker for this area I feel it is essential for this primary school to have a patrol man for the safety of children crossing this very busy road .

It's a utter disgrace that primary school children don't have a safe way to cross the road at this school my children all went to HART now I've 5 grandchildren at HART and to me even trying to cross road is a danger children's safety should be paramount

Road is so busy and hard to see to cross at peak times. This road definitely requires the guidance of a patrol person.

Think it's disgraceful all primary & secondry schools need a lolly pop man/woman... Wot happens if traffic lights have a techinical fault or power cut etc????

I can't see why they even have to think about reinstating a patrol man/woman or doing away with the 1 that was already there in the first place does are children's safety not matter to these people...shame on the lot of you......disgusting....

This is a valuable and much needed service for hart memorial . I have had personal experience of having a child very nearly knocked down at this crossing . If the Education authority have any conceince they will employ a patrol person

this is one of the most dangerous roads for children to go to and from school.. don't wait until there is a tradgedy to bring back the school patrol, ther should also be flashing warning lights to make traffic aware of the children coming out of school
