Some cowards has commented anonymously that mufti Saab was partly to blame. If you were truthful you wouldn’t hide and comment anonymously, that in itself shows your true colours!!

Members of the “committee” fear Allah as Ulama’s are inheritors of Ambiya. Even if you get away with such injustice, which I doubt this community will allow you, you will not escape Allah’s justice on the day of judgement. Bring our imam back in he’s position.

Mufti sahb has given nothing but hardwork and dedication to this masjid. He has shown comitment and has a great connection with children, parents and the community. He has worked very hard to raise the funds needed to build the masjid so to dismiss him is unjust and this is why everyone feels the way they feel. He must be reinstated. May Allah guide us all to the right path.

I don't know the reasons why he's been let go but from my own personal chats with him and those of my kids that go to that I can only say that I hold him in the highest regard, so the reason is probably just abituary. To me it seems like the comittee are doing this to benefit their own needs.

I have great respect for ulamas but after reading the comments i have this question: How many people have actually made an effort to contact the committee and get their point of view? A dismissal doesn’t happen just like that. There is no smoke without fire. I have know about this dispute well before it came to light. After contacting the committee and mufti saab I have learnt that mufti saab was partly to blame. Mufti hid the truth. There was no plan to make a girls school. The committee never intended to dismiss mufti saab but mufti tried falsely rising against them with other molanas and decision was taken after this. As well as the ulama, committee members were also chosen by Allah. I am not against any ulama including mufti saab but i wanted to bring the whole situation to light. Furthermore, please try finding out just how many students mufti saab wrongfully kicked out of the madrasah without reason or warning so please consider this before talking about politics. May Allah grant mufti saab a job somewhere epse. Jazakallah.

They need to realise running a masjid is not the same as running a business. Stop using dirty politics. Show some respect to our ulema and appreciate the work, effort, dedication and sacrifice they put in. Not just mufti Saab who i can vouch and tell you has put his blood and sweat for this masjid since the day he was appointed. He’s one of a kind. That goes for all the ulema in Leicester, appreciate all the hard work they put in. Listen to the community for once. All the people who are in support of mufti Saab. Being a local mussali at this masjid for many years, now the feeling and love for this beautiful institute is dying due to these people. Authority gets to people these days unfortunately I guess.

Imam should never have been dismissed, the fact they “committee” didn’t consult with the community shows their arrogance. May Allah save our community of such people. All the children miss mufti and they are upset by he’s absence as they are so found of him, greeting them with a warm smile and handshake when entering the madrasa. We parents notice this and the fact the he know all the children’s names who attend the madrasa. That in it's self is evidence of the love and dedication he has.

This is so sad. I'm a student at the madrasah and I cant begin to tell you what an awful decision thus is. Mufti is so kind and helpful and makes time for everyone. He's always there to greet the students at the front gate and it's so sad he's not been there the last couple of days. Me and and my all my friends are now thinking about not attending. If he is not reinstated we will all think about going elsewhere that's how strongly we feel. I would say to the committee that u shouldt put your own agenda ahead of the children's and the wider community. Thanks
