One trustee has resigned , but we need all to resign over the hurt and anger they have caused in the community for the sake of Allah.
The committee do not want to meet or hear concerns of the community, who do they think they are?
We want our Imam and masjid back.
Dear respected brothers and sisters of Leicester and Goodwood community.
Assalamualikum, We hope this message finds you in the best of health and imaan.
Our community masjid, Muad Ibn Jabal and madressah on Gamel Road Goodwood Leicester, which we have all tirelessly fund raised for is being taken over by people who do not have our best interests at heart. Our most respected imaam and principal has been dismissed on grounds we are not aware of, seems a serious case of unfair dismissal. While Allah sees all. I urge you to sign the petition , and put Mufti Ziyaul Haq back in his rightful position. The madrassah education is a happy one for our children and the teaching has been excellent, but how do we know the commitee won’t get rid of the rest of the staff.
Mufti Ziyaul Haq has been with the masjid and madressah for a long time and he has been our imam and principal of the madressah through a sub standard porta cabin. He has tirelessly helped fundraise for the masjid in the UK and abroad, which Alhamdullilah is coming up.
As parents and members of the Muslim community, please help us to put Mufti Ziyaul Haq back in his position. This is a mosque for the community and we do not believe that anyone can take this auspicious position from him. Take a stand and do not let the committee members replace him. They think they can replace Mufti Saab with a new face in the new masjid. Let’s all stand up, we will all have to answer to Allah, why have we broken the heart and the livelihood of such a highly learned person in our community.

Seeing the count climb toward one hundred feels overwhelming and I am truly humbled by your dedication to our community. If everyone reading this could send the link to just one person we might finally be able to show the committee that we are not going anywhere.

There should be some serious questions asked as to what the committees true intentions are - as most of the time they instate a Imam to push there own agenda - bring back mufti haq and the Committee should just look after the upkeep of the masjid and no more
I really feel the necessity to keep mufti Sab as the Imam and principal of the Masjid, as it has been through his efforts and time that the masjid and madrasah has achieved, now the masjid has been built, I feel unjustice that he should be dismissed.
If we can forgive and embrace a revert for the greatest sin he may have committed i.e. kufr then why can both parties not get together and call the community. Sort it out and forgive eachother and the Trustees sincerely need to apologise to Mufti.
Unfair dismiss of the muti Saab, kids at the madrasah love and miss him. “Committed” members have a personal agenda not the interests of this community. We want our imam back in he’s rightful position at the masjid he worked so tirelessly for
The committee members have been tactical in removing the imam Saab. No fear of Allah in their hears, like other parents we don’t feel sending our children to learn Deen from a place that’s is managed by ignorant people. They are replacing knowledgeable Ulam
Rumours have been going around they've received money for Masjid from Arabs but acting as though funds are still needed. Thats is why they are not bothered if fundinv stops or if people are asking for their money back. Allah knows best.
Did he fire Mufti and create a job for himself hmmm?
