Reinstate Mrs. Wiggins

there are students that need her at this vital point in school year and you are hurting a lot of students instead of her She has worked in Henderson for 25 years and I am sure years a or worse every day !! If we all were judged at this level and got cought each time no one would be in school students or teachers !!!! BRING HER BACK DONT MAKE STUDENTS SUFFER WHEN THEY NEED HER TO BE IN CLASS TEACHING!!!

As a former student of this teacher I believe this is completely unfair. She has always treated everyone with kindness and respect. She shouldn't be punished for something this small when other students and teacher alike say and do a lot worse this this small act.

She was never a teacher of mine. But I observed the way she treated every student with respect. Also gave them any tools to help them learn, weather a student of hers or just a student she saw trying.

Bring Mrs Wiggans back to her classes.

And this is what's wrong with the Vance County School system. While she chose the wrong words to make her point, the punishment should fit the crime. While at Northern Vance in the mid 90's my football coach used that word quite often. He threatened to give guys "wedgies" if he caught them with their pants sagging off of their **sses. Guess what???? Dudes didn't sag because they knew he meant it! These kids post way worse things on their Facebook pages than what she said everyday. Wake up people, stop nurturing these kids and their fragile feelings. The harsh world out there doesn't give a crap about their feelings. Toughen up!

This is the best teacher in Vance Co. She truly cares for her students well- being! Southern Vance high school has gone down hill and this is one of the reasons!!! Reinstate this wonderful teacher because she deserves better!!!!

Ms. Wiggins is one of the best teachers in the Vance county area. Why don't they look at see how the students treat the teachers. Vance county schools are getting out of hand.

Best teacher I've ever had!

I love Mrs. Wiggins, they don't make teachers like her anymore. She was the best when I was in school. I recall teachers saying worst than that when I was in school and nobody said a thing. People, there are bigger fish to fry. You're suspending a teacher with a heart of gold but yet you're giving the racists teachers and the ones who genuinely hate their students a slap on the wrist.

As a parent of 2 of Mrs Wiggins former AP students, I can attest to the dedication she has for her students first, and VCS. I challenge any school board member to spend a day in her shoes and I bet something worse than ass comes out of their mouth.

How awful that such action was taken against such a wonder person! Those in Vance County Schools administration should be ashamed. Take a look at your coaches if you want to address profanity!

Mrs. Wiggins or Miss Allen as I knew her as my Social Studies and homeroom teacher for 3 years. She was and still is a magnificent educated and friend. I don't even know if I would have made it through high school with out her.

Mrs. Wiggins was one of, if not, the best teacher I had when I attended SVHS!

If that gets you suspended then all of the coaches should of been gone years ago. Ridiculous.

What a pity that you punish an amazing teacher for some stupid word. Be different if she worked in church not the circus. Might as well suspend every coach is every school if this is the case But then again SV is famous for running off great teachers. She happens to be one of My favorite teachers. Class of 93??

She was one of the best teacher I had while at southern! She is a very intelligent and amazing women who shouldn't be judged by a single curse word.
