Please don't do her like that. She is a good teacher and person that don't deserve to be punished like that. We all have said some bad words, it's a part of life. So get over it.

Students walk up and down the halls using F word and no one says one word to them. Use a little common sense Vance Co. We have all said something before we thought about what we were saying. We have much bigger issues in our schools than this. Don't be an A about this.
All the coaches better get ready to get suspended. No, maybe it wasn't the best choice of words but it was not that severe an infraction and in light of all that Sandra has done for this system it is entirely unwarranted!

I had Mrs.Wiggins last semester for American History 1 and I thought she was a terrific teacher and I do not feel that she deserves this punishment.

With as much negativity as we already have in our school system, this will do nothing but teach the children that were in the classroom with her to complain until they get what suits them best. Mrs. Wiggins has been a wonderful teacher for this county, she will continue to be a shining light in a dark place such as our school system

Poor decision making at a critical time in the lives of the students. As an instructor at West Point, I can only hope to be as influential to my cadets as Mrs. Wiggins was to me as a student in high school.

Wow! Mrs.Wiggins is one of the best, if not, THE best teacher at SVHS. Suspending her for 5 days for saying the word "ass" is ridiculous. Especially when you have students fighting, skipping school, etc & they get suspended for like 3 days, if that. She needs to be with her students & get them prepared for testing. Enough eith the pettiness!

I had Mrs. Wiggins a few years back and she is one of the best teachers at Southern Vance. She talked and taught on a level we could relate too and understand! If Southern lose her the whole school going downhill FAST!!!

Mrs. Wiggins is an outstanding teacher who cares immensely for the education of her students. As a previous student of hers I directly attribute a large portion of my enjoyment of high school to her teaching style and humor. I understand that there are rules regarding the usage of certain language, but barring any direct insult to a student I find this punishment to be an incredible overreach by the school against a teacher who has more than proven her integrity.

Wow. Are they suspending students with foul language as well? I sure hope so. Vance County should count their blessings that they have had Wiggins on staff for such a long period of time. She brings so much to the table that other teachers on tenure never did or could have the capacity to.
