To All It May Concern:
The parent's of the students assigned to Mrs. Frank's second grade class at Monocacy Elementary, would like it to be known that we do not support the decision to have Mrs. Schueler be replaced. With the start of 2nd grade, Mrs. Schueler, was a stabilizing force in a chaotic time for the students. She has gotten them in to a familiar routine and the children look forward to their time at school largely because of her. We would like the students to finish up the year with Mrs. Schueler as their official 2nd grade teacher.

Mrs. Schueler brought stability into a classroom of 7-year-olds who had 6 different teachers before she came along. They are now making progress. Putting someone else in place sets them back again. Not good for any of the children in that classroom.
Mrs. Schueler is such as asset to the second grade class at MEC. The children need her back! Bringing in yet another substitute or teacher for the remainder of the school year is not effective in moving our children's educational abilities forward.
I ask that Mrs. Shueler be employed to finish the year with the current second grade class. The stability to the class is important. Every time the leader of a group changes the group starts over. The kids have experienced this more than once at the beginning of the year. I did not appreciate the changing at the beginning of the year and I think this is unfair to our children now as they are mid-year.
With the students finally having a teacher that they respect and have a routine with, I don't see any other choice the school district should consider other then keeping Mrs. Schueler in the classroom. I hope the decision to not offer her the ability to teach them for the rest of the year is reconsidered.
Mrs Schueler was a terrific assest to that classroom and finally gave those kids the chance they deserve to have a successful 2nd grade year
Our children need to be put first!! Please let Mrs. Schueler finish up the school year as our children's teacher!
My child feels safe and comfortable with her teacher finally why change that feeling?!? Every child should feel that when away from their parents i feel safe n comfortable as well but not now this is horrific!!! I VOTE TO KEEP HER school and school board should care of our children well being !!

Mrs. Schueler has been both popular and effective in the classroom. The students have had substitutes for Mrs. Frank’s class since the beginning of the school year but now that they have Mrs. Schuler as their long-term substitute teacher we implore you to extend her term to complete the year. Clearly it benefits the students to continue with the teacher they have had and who has a good rapport and familiarity with the students and their progress. Bouncing from substitute to substitute clearly cannot be considered the most beneficial or effective way to teach our student’s class.
