On 9/17, Taylor Sherreitt (aka Miss Taylor), a beloved preschool teacher in Carlsbad, was wrongfully terminated from her job of over 15 years over a social media re-post that strongly condemned hateful views and recent political violence.

Her church board was sent an anonymous email with a screenshot of her repost that demanded her dismissal. Instead of investigating more about the still-unidentified sender of this email or pursuing more moderate action to show grace towards this dedicated mother and educator, the Redeemer Board decided to end her 15-year legacy of joy, compassion, and professionalism in the classroom for expressing her own personal views on her own personal account on her own personal time.

If the Redeemer Board can listen to a single anonymous source to take such drastic action against one of their own, we can only hope they will listen to an overwhelming chorus of voices to ask that she be reinstated.

Please also consider giving to Miss Taylor's GoFundMe to help support her financially during this turbulent time: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-miss-taylor

**In the event that this petition is honored and she is reinstated as a teacher, all donations will be fully refunded.**
