reinstate mask mandate for oldham county schools (KY)

I as a parent and widow to a middle school child worry that with my underlying health issues, if my child brings home Covid and I get sick enough to go into the hospital or God forbid die, my child will have no one to take him in. I worry every single day about this now more than ever without children in schools wearing a mask. My child says he wears his mask all day but I can be certain of that because he's a kid and most if not all of his friends do not wear masks at school.

This is a health threat to not only the children but extended members of their families. While my children are at a independent school, I have 5 nieces & nephews that go to OC public schools and will have to keep my kids away from them due to this gross negligence that puts them at a higher risk of getting COVID, and spreading it, when the community birders numbers are so high and they OC is not following expert health recommendations. It’s sad that the cousins can’t safely be together now.

Don’t confuse your rights with your responsibilities.

Mask will keep everyone safe!

Our younger grandkids are too young for vaccinations, so we worry no masks puts them at risk.

Concerned for all staff and students. I am a retired administrator and masks are necessary to protect everyone from this new variant.

I have two children in OC public schools and I support the mask mandate reinstatement.

Mother of Student ….this is a pandemic these non maskers are putting our children at risk. You can still believe in Jesus and wear a mask and get the vaccine. God expects us to protect ourselves and our family’s.

Please reinstate mandatory masks in all schools. Protect our students and school staffs.

Be proactive with our kids’ health, not reactive. Listen to our health professionals!

No one likes wearing masks but it’s the least we can do to protect our kids until the Covid threat is lifted.

It's YOUR job to protect your students and your staff. You're not doing that right now and are ignoring numbers, something you assured us you would closely watch. I don't know how you all sleep at night

I am a caretaker for my grandchildren and feel we all need to use our common sense to care for one another so please wear a mask to protect the babies and the elderly.
