I cannot sign the petition because it contains an erroneous claim: "She has provided the university community with a variety of diverse poetry-related programs, such as readings, poetry salons, and Visiting Poets including Anne Stevenson and Kay Ryan." The last part of this statement is untrue.

I strongly support this petition. Kim Bridgford has worked hard to make this conference inclusive and diverse. A poetry conference at West Chester University will not be of the same caliber without her leading it.

I completely agree with this petition. The sudden decision to remove Dr. Bridgford is utterly baffling and without merit.

I admire what Kim Bridgford has done at West Chester and support her reinstatement with enthusiasm and much hope for the future of the conference and Poetry Center. Professor Bridgford and the Poetry Center / Conference are a dream match.

As a regular attendee and a donor who has supported the Conference and its scholarships, I want Kim reinstated unless the Poetry Center can demonstrate a compelling reason otherwise.
I wholly support the accompanying statement!
I have one comment: Take away an effective leader, and the followers go, too.
I cannot imagine a better Director for the WCU Poetry Center than Kim Bridgford.
This something she has clearly earned.
