Kim Bridgford is a wonderfully talented poet, and has brought so much positive and talented visiting poets from all over the globe. Only a fool would end this relationship. Kim is a keeper.

I would like to know WHY Dr. Bridgford was let go. I've heard nothing but positive comments about the WCU Poetry Center and Conference.

Reinstate Kim. It is incomprehensible to me that she would have been removed from a position for which she is so obviously qualified, and about which she is so passionate. There IS no better candidate for the directorship.

Kim Bridgford worked tirelessly to make the conference a welcoming place to all poets. I am saddened by this news, and hope WCU will reconsider.

Dr. Bridgford is a truly outstanding person. Her mentorship has touched my life and helped me build my identity. She is truly gifted in her ability to inspire one's creativity and introspection. In a world where it is so easy to get caught up in work and superficial worries, Dr. Bridgford helps one appreciate what it really means to have a unique soul and how to share the most intimate form of communication through poetry.

Dr. Bridgford is undoubtedly the best teacher I have ever had. It isn't just because of her talent of teaching, as I've only had one actual class with her, but her dedication, talent, and success in regards to everything she does. There is not, nor will there ever be, a "replacement" for her.

I cannot imagine someone more capable or qualified than Dr. Kim Bridgford for running the WCU Poetry Center. I'm greatly disappointed by this announcement as a member of the poetry community and as a former student of Kim. I wish that she be reinstated as soon as possible.
