BHSC Members' Call to Reinstate Jon Sarosiek and Samantha Strong

Freezing membership is a course of action if accepted reasons for dismissal are not available to members.

Am considering resigning from BHSC.

I am not even a boar's Head member, but strongly believe that Jon and Samantha are assets to the club.

Jon and Samantha are the reason that BHSC has the warmth of a community instead of the coldness of a resort/institution. If we lose them, BHSC will lose what makes it special. Members pay large dues with the understanding that it pays for great facilities AND wonderful employees. My family feels strongly that employees that perform at the level that we have personally seen from Jon and Samantha should be rewarded, not fired. We do not feel like the recent actions by Russ, et al, reflect our best interests and there should be consequences.

They are valued members of the BH community. We support their return to work.

I cannot express my feelings strongly enough in support and complete agreement with what is stated in this petition. You need to let Russ go immediately to prevent anyone else from his horrendous decisions.

Please help the members understand this decision (and other recent staffing changes). As a new member, this seems to be a terrible decision, unless there is hard evidence to prove otherwise.

I think Jon Sarosiek snd Samantha Strong have been incredibly productive assets to this club. Bring tgem back!

Samatha is the reason we joined, and has always worked with us regarding our needs. She is irreplaceable because she brought in and got to know many if not most members on a personal level. This is a HUGE loss to BHSC, and will be the reason we leave.

In full agreement of reinstating Jon and Samantha!!! These two employees have given nothing less than 110% improving the sports club and supporting its members.

transparency is something that should be honored. Jon and Samantha are good human beings. They are definitely bright lights on the BH team

Both Jon and Samantha have been incredibly professional and helpful since we joined and I cannot imagine either of them doing anything to deserve being fired:(

I have been so impressed by the leadership of Jon and Samantha - especially in providing great communication through the pandemic. I hope the Foundation can find a way to get them back to leading our Boar’s Head community.

Samantha was the reason I joined BHSC and Birdwood. She was professional, responsive, and kind. I cannot imagine what warranted this action.

Please Investigate this situation. The membership deserves an explanation. Something isn’t right

Jon and Samantha ARE the face of BHSC. The health of the club is in doubt when management resorts to firing two such employees at once with no reasonable explanation. Hire a mediator and get them back before this blows up beyond the ability for the GM to maintain credibility.

Please look into this matter.

Seems like poor leadership to fire these two incredible employees. The Foundation should do some digging to get to the bottom of this ASAP!
