Mr Garza poured his heart into SHS. He absolutely loved that little school with everything he had. Maybe he lacked administrative experience... but they knew that when they hired him.

Its unfortunate that there's is one person that is so selfish and has to much pride to see what good mr. Garza has brought to the school and his students. I don't have a student there but I have been to the fundraisers and its top notch and that is why he and his staff raised the funds to keep the school open. The superintendent need to look at the back picture. Everything was done for kids. Or did she forget what education is all about. And not thinking about her self. Please reinstate principal Garza for the right reason. Or like they always say karma will always get the best of you because turnaround is fair play!!

He is an excellent Principal with superior communications skills and has excellent repor with the parents and the Children at St Helens. It’s will truly be a big loss for the school if does not return.

If it weren’t for Mr. Garza and his efforts which went above and beyond his required duties, the city of Fresno and community would have lost a school which instills good moral values which enriches our community and overall population of the catholic community spreading Christian values. He invested a great deal of his personal life when others would have not done so. He should have been recognized my Mona Faulkner for his efforts, but instead was terminated which baffles the mind. Why would a person be terminated for doing what is expected of them as well as above and beyond expectations? It doesn’t take a rocket science to come to what conclusion some may want to happen. I for one would want a school such as St. Helens in my community as well as a man of Mr. Garza’s exceptional integrity at the helm guiding it. With all the violence and immoral activity in Fresno happening on a daily basis, the types of citizens St. Helens is sending out into our community can only help to make things better for our community.

I have been a parishioner since my grandson was in kindergarten. My grandson was given the opportunity to graduate may 2018 because of all the hard work of mr garza and st Helen's community. Its obvious with the past financial issues it took a strong person (with God's help) willing to put all his efforts into SAVING another Catholic school from closing. How could anyone believe that without mr garza and his imagination for fundraising and budgeting that st Helen's could be better off in someone else's hands. Re-contract mr Garza for st Helen's as principal.
