Reinstate Jason Eastman as Glencoe High School’s varsity softball coach

Jason has always been an outstanding leader, coach and guide. He does this by motivating our female athletes to excel in life as well as sports with hard work and dedication always pay off. In addition he celebrates in their life success on & off the field and continues with support long after the season is over with kindness and excellent communication.

Being a Century football parent, we have just experienced the same thing. Our Football was let go about a month ago for no reason. He is currently still teaching at Century. Major problems within HSD, we even went to the board meeting and weren’t not allowed to even mention his name. I wish you guys best of luck. Someone wants to reach out us football parents would be more than happy to tell you what we have been thru this month. HSD does not listen nor do they care. Major problems with cover ups within HSD .. just warning you

As an alumni from Southridge who played softball against Glencoe, they were ALWAYS the best team we’ve ever played. Their coaching staff is incredible, their players are incredible, the whole program is incredible. You can’t let a coach like that go.

Absolutely no reason to fire one of the greatest coaches in Oregon high school softball history without solid explanation

I was looking forward to learning and becoming a better player under Jason’s coaching. This isn’t a fair or right decision

Record speaks for itself. Good guy builds great teams

Jason is one of the class acts in high school sports. One of the best fundamental coaches there is. More importantly he is a mentor and leader of young women who trust in this mans ability.

Jason Eastman has done more for fastpitch softball in the Portland metropolitan area and beyond than 90% of all softball coaches, including MYSELF!!!!!!! He is one of the most respected coaches around. Jason, if you read this, I and the entire Bandits families have your back!!!!!! Just let us know what we can do!!!!!!

I personally only played softball my freshman year but did not have coach Eastman as a coach, but the amount of effort and work I saw through the program and seasons themselves it’s mind boggling to see him be taken from the position.

Bring Jason back!

Jason is all in as a coach, softball community member.

I graduated from this high school. I dont understand what all had gone on since graduation, yet ive heard a lot of teachers that were grest are no longer there. Things need to be put right

Great guy and represents the sport softball extremely well.

Bring him back on and apologize for wrongful termination.

Another example of how the school districts our kids play for put their own interest in front of the students and players who play for them.

This is a mistake and is and excuse for your poorly adviced faculties

Unbelievable but honestly this is not shocking. Glencoe admin should be ashamed of themselves for many reasons and this is one of them. The graduation ceremony this year is another one!! If you were there you know why....Mr Stanley should go but keep Coach Jason!!

This is a huge mistake. Eastman is an amazing coach, please re-instate him.

Fire a man for creating a great program for these young women.

Jason is an amazing coach and softball is one of our best sports at glencoe. This is such a mistake and admin will see it sooner or later.
