Reinstate Jason Eastman as Glencoe High School’s varsity softball coach

My daughter Makenna was coached by Jason in her younger years of softball. My daughter has gone on to play D1 softball and had the ultimate experience of playing in the College World Series. Jason's positive attitude, inspiration and nurturing of my daughter was a major step in her success as a softball player!

Jason is good dude.

Jason is a great coach did great things for my niece

Ive played and been around this sport for 40 years and honestly have never seen a more respected and loved coach by players and parents than Jason. The school and district have made a huge mistake!!

He is such an amazing man and coach. I find it appalling that the year Glencoe gets their beautiful turf fields (thanks to Jason's hard work and dedication) all of a sudden he's let go. Disgusting! Hoping this makes the news and the school feels the pressure! Do the right thing Glencoe HS and HSD!

I think that he shouldn’t be let go because of how amazing of a coach he is!!

I dont play softball but I have friends that do play and they really like him.

I didn’t have Jason as a coach but I was apart of the softball team and he took the time to get to know me. He didn’t have to because I was on jv and varsity coaches could care less about jv but Jason actually took the time to say hello and asked me how I was doing, that’s the kind of coach I want and I think Glencoe screwed up big time by letting him go.

I don't personally know him since I don't play soft ball but that is not fair at ALL, I'm so sure he was a great coach to all the softball girls.

I hated glencoe before this just shows me more reasons to hate the school and admin

I couldn’t say enough about his coach. He was amazing. As a fellow HSD student at a different high school, he spent lots of time getting to know others and help to the best of his ability while still leading his team to being the best

This is a shock and absolutely absurd. 2019 Coach of the year, League Champs, Les Schwab team of the month, loved by the players and parents. Seems to me those methods worked just fine.........

I've played many sports for many different coaches but Jason is by far my favorite! He stands up for us and I know he really cares about each and everyone of his players past and present. I don't know what I'd do without him as my coach my senior year
