Targhee's outstanding deal for a family pass has made it worth traveling for. We come up from Salt Lake City because we love Targhee and the family pass makes it worthwhile. Days with kids on the mountain are unlike any other. Taking away that opportunity would cause so many friends and family to look to other resorts for affordable options.

It's a good way for families to be able to afford to ski and promote the sport for the future. Their has to be a way to include the non traditional family if they wanted to.

We love targhee, but they’re not very good at loving us locals who keep their mountain afloat.

I’ve been skiing there for 35 years. 5 years ago I started skiing with my three daughters 5 years ago and started buying season passes. Every year the price continues to go up. This year’s announcements of new prices has been a great disappointment for us. We just talked as a family and have decided this is too much money for our family to afford. I’m super sad to be saying this will be my last season Skiing with their new overly inflated prices.

The family pass at Targhee is a long standing institution. I applaud your finding aneed to include non-traditional families in this mix. However, can you see no way to extend the benefit to them without withdrawing it from the rest? It seems kind of lazy.

Season pass holder for more then 10 years this is a disappointing move to grab more money from the locals That support the resort in both seasons. My family is just getting old enough for me to consider a family pass. Bad move grand greed hee.

I think doing away with the family pass is a terrible move for Grand Targhee. That pass is the only way a lot of families will be able to get up to the hill. Fewer families at the hill means fewer young children learning how to ski or ride, which means fewer ticket sales down the road a few years when those kids grow up and have families of their own. Come on GTR. Think about your future.

All my friends go up to Targhee because it is an amazing resort, is not too expensive, and we can all go up because of the family pass with our families. If the family pass is gone we will all go to other resorts like Pebble or Kelly that have family passes. Keep the family pass!!

Keep Targhee family friendly by having family passes and encouraging families to visit! Children that grow up on a ski hill will continue to ski and therefore support their local ski hill as well as the surrounding economy! It already takes a considerable effort and expense to be a skiing family! Keep Targhee family friendly!

Taking out the family plan will lose lots of local business just update the plan to include modern family units.
