Reinstate ESH6027 ‘After Postcolonialism’ (2016-7)

Professor Bill Schwarz, module convener of ESH6027 ‘After Postcolonialism’, is on another year of research leave. This is not only hugely disrupting for students who chose this module, but in a very real way, prohibits –or at the least- diminishes dissertations in key, and expanding fields of study.
The module was scheduled to run for the year 2016-7, though today (23/6), with less than great form, SED signed off its cancellation.
There are already plenty of skilled and competent practitioners within the department, who, although timetabled, could fill the gap left by Bill.
More, there is the possibility for outside hire and guest lecturers.
We need to find at least 50 students who feel the same way so to be able to make a viable claim to SED that this is unacceptable, with ESH6027 reinstated.
