As a parent and member of the community we understand that issues of this nature are complex, and appreciate the call for greater transparency in dealing with diverse perspectives of parents and staff.

I am following this situation with interest and concern as a two time National Board Certified Teacher with 35 years of classroom, teacher's union and administrative experience, a Ph.D. and two TES grandchildren. Those of us whose vocation is working with children are morally bound to be authentic role models for our students, to walk the talk every day in every way. I too am paying attention and look forward to becoming personally involved with TES as soon as I move back to the area later this month. I stand in solidarity.
