Professor Gallant is one of the best professors Lehigh has ever had. I took part in the original petition for her the last time a few corrupt individuals at Lehigh made this mistake and the support was overwhelming. Over 800 students within four days signed the physical petition to support the impact Professor Gallant had, as well countless emails and phone calls from devoted alumni. She is the heart and soul of the marketing department and I feel sorry for the students that will not have the opportunity to learn from such an amazing professor.
If Professor Gallant parts ways with Lehigh it is our loss. As students, alumni, and supporters of Lehigh, we are the ones that are losing a part of what made Lehigh so special. We are losing a professor that truly cares about her students and helps them succeed because of what seems to be an unjust popularity contest among the Lehigh Board of Trustees.

Professor gallant changed my life and is the reason that I took marketing as my major and career path. She is an inspiration to everyone to work hard in your career, relationships, and life in general. I attribute my current career to what I learned from her classes.

Professor Gallant is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. She was the most inspiring professor I ever had. Her character is second to none. She is more than a professor to her students, she is family.

There is no reason that Prof Gallant should feel that her job is in jeopardy at all. She is the reason that I enjoy coming to class every day, how could you fire somebody like that?? Here's an idea, Lehigh, how about you fire the poorly performing professors (such as Ridings, Chitturi, amongst others), invest in the well being and education of your students, and stop being so ridiculous. Sincerely, disappointed.

Cases like these explain "precisely why Lehigh will never be a world-class university" because Lehigh "does not appreciate progress, change," or accountability apparently. (AdInfinitum22's response to "Why People Transfer Out of Lehigh")

The fact that letting a professor like Beth Gallant go is even a thought shows the sheer incompetency that Lehigh has become known for among it's students. It has focused its time and energy in all of the wrong places and has proved time and again that it does not take into account the voice of the most important part of the community: its students.
