Dr. C. Maltbia was terminated from the San Joaquin General Hospital's Surgery Residency program on Dec.2011. However, she is actively pursing reinstatement as a 3rd year resident surgeon effective July 1, 2012. Dr. C.Maltbia has proven herself to be a competent, approachable, and professional resident surgeon during her training at SJGH. We the employees of SJGH would like to express our support for her reinstatement!

The feedback from hospital staff remains constant. We are still pushing for a formal meeting to discuss Dr. Maltbia's return.

total mistake letting her go. she was the best resident we had in surgery honestly.
