Please reinstate this passionate teacher - he has a love for the school that cannot be equaled. He has had a great impact on many young men myself included.

Vote early vote often (Ok, my second entry! lol). I am deeply touched by the impassioned pleas from all corners of the earth for our beloved Choir School. The music we share and the esteem we hold for one another is one of the most sacred things to me. I spent my summers on the farm of Monsignor Ronan’s older brother Matt, my Grandfather, and here J.E.’s exploits were legendary around the kitchen table. My younger brother and I were at the Choir School the day our Mother died and I know she went to her reward happy we were in good hands. While musical and social forces took me elsewhere, a decade later I ran into Fr. Armstrong after the noon mass and he invited me back into the choir which culminated in my marriage in the Cathedral on the Feast of St. Michael. There have been so many great musicians at the Choir school: J.E. Ronan and Co., Fr. Barrett and K Mann, Harry, Brian and Jerczy. And while I keep in touch with a number of alumnus and parents, I don’t pretend to know the current players, but I recognize them by their amazing work! We attended the Christmas concert and the voices of the boys and the musical direction of the conductors was truly wonderful. I know that we will all come together in a team spirit and the Choir School will continue to hold a special place for each of us. Bernard O’Grady Class of ‘77

I'm a senior, parishioner for 20+ years, long time admirer of Dr. Cichocki. Love his new song book. Whatever the issue, please resolve prayerfully and reinstate this beloved maestro.

Totally unjust treatment from a school which has high moral standards.

Just as we teach our children, sometimes you have to get along with people you may not choose as a friend-it's called WORK! Personality clashes should not end a life long commitment to a school by such a talented teacher!

Who is the clown from class of 1990 that feels the need to be negative, but is too chicken **** to post their name? Probably some goof that disturbed the class and earned a poor mark and holds a grudge 30 years later. Doc is and was an inspiration to us all. One of a very small handful of professionals from SMCS that could lead and inspire. Keep the pressure going. Demand answers from the archdiocese. Pierre D'Aoust Class of 2000

Now that the Catholic Register, which appears to be owned by the Archdiocese of Toronto, has published it, it looks like it is public info. http://www.catholicregister.org/item/24033-st-michael-s-choir-school-fires-long-time-conductor

Alright Mr. Alumnus, If you have all the facts and know the whole story, why don't you tell people? After studying under doc for the last x years, it would seem that a lot of the decisions are continuously made against him. I also have heard the director continuously call for an increase in commercialization in the school. TL;DR Spill the facts, don't be cryptic without info

Jeremy (or Michael), Do you have any idea how many unique signatures you have? I've seen several people have signed twice - one person at least three times. Unless the anons are leaving a valid email they're pretty useless as well.
