It's absolutely disgusting how Diane has been treated. Not only by that hideous Tory donor, but by both sides of parliament.

If the Labour Party wish to retain a semblance of decency it has to restore the Labour´s whip to Diane Abbott

What has happened to Diane Abbott at the hands of Frank Hestor is atrocious and it is disgraceful that she has been allowed to go through it and the rest, singlehandedly, for decades, all in the name of being a labour party MP. She is brave, she is black and she is beautiful and treasured by many. Where are all the black people in this nation who experience overt and covert racism everyday and just learn to live with it? Those who have witnessed generations before us go through the same and those who don't want their children and grandchildren to go through the same experience? If Diane was a woman of a certain hue; her race reversed and a black man had said this would Rishi still be saying an apology is okay and it wasn't racism? I think not! How long are we going to keep our heads buried in the sand and let this slide? Would an Iman accept this in relevant circumstances? Would they just suck it up? No! Because they have something called self respect and self love. We as black britons have to arise in unity and protest. Diane is our mother, sister, daughter, friend, neighbour and co-worker. She is the epitome of black female determination, fearlessness and fortitude. She is a woman of strong character and has not allowed herself to be restricted by glass ceilings or run off the playing field by bullies. Having endured decades of blatant abuse, with no recompense, she was recently vilified for comments that she made and retracted as well as apologised for. No mercy was meted out to her by those she has long shared solidarity, only judgement and punishment. Her whip was removed even though her decades long record of service to her constituency proves that not only does she stand for equality but for justice and has done so from the beginning. When is the government going to do right by this woman and reinstate her into her rightful position and allow her the dignity to continue fighting not only for her community but for all? It's appalling to watch a black woman in
