If the job is being advertised it wasn't a redundancy. Was redeployment looked into? If not it looks like victimisation.

Absolutely disgraceful, this is clear discrimination due to her role with the union.

Surely a restructure involving many with one redundancy to a person with 28 years is very harsh and goes against the HR creed of everyone desdrve and should be shown with respect in the workplace.

There seem to have been far too many of these 'redundancies' and the like of UCU officers across the sector for it to be even remotely called 'coincidence'.
