The parents are the problem......waaa..they should be dismissed....not the coaches.!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that summarily dismissing the coaching staff is fair to the volunteer coaches nor is it the right way to address parents' feedback. Prior to the beginning of Aug. camp, there should be an opportunity (in a non-confrontational setting) for the coaches and parents to discuss the plan for this upcoming season re: game day playing time, whether the size of the team is manageable, etc.

This is a complete travesty. The vile and crass actions exhibited by those who have grievances has been deplorable since the start of last season. My hope is that we can have an open and PUBLIC dialog about the issues before the ultimate decision is made. The coaches have invested so much of their time and goodwill into this program and deserve the opportunity to continue leading these young men.

I would like to see a better solution for the 7th grade PAL football program this coming season. I feel kids will be at risk from a safety perspective, if some of the more experienced players are no longer in the system. My son has had a great experience for the last 4 years as part of the PAL program and I am concerned that to many kids will leave the program or not play at all if the tentative changes are made.

Just for the record, The only reason that this comes up as "anonymous" is simply because I don't know how to change the setting. I composed and circulated this petition with input from a few others. Gary M. Rudow

My son was a first year PAL travel player. Speaking on his behalf, he feels he was treated fairly, and learned a lot about the game of football at this higher level of play. Whether at practice, a scrimmage, or a regular season game, the instruction the players received was positive: guidance if a play wasn't executed properly, and praise for a job well done. Darcy Birse, and the entire C Team coaching staff, volunteered countless hours of their time to help ALL players achieve individual and group success. As with any competitive travel program, there is always room for improvement, however, I hope you will consider all comments before implementing coaching changes. Thank you.

I thought the program was run exceptionally well.

Totally unjust!

The league should have at least reached out to all parents for their opinions and not just those disgruntled complainers.

It's a shame they have to destroy a great program so they can "save" it.

I have a lot of the same thoughts and concerns not to mention that my son is quite upset.

Thanks to whoever started this. It was handled so poorly. Only people given a voice all season was the disgruntled and negative
