Reinstate customs duty exemption for anti-hemophilic factors #SavePWH

As of toady, these medicines are anyway costly(one injection dosage is around 30K INR). The inadequate supply of these medicines already encouraging black market. I have seen my friend suffered from these situations. To protect domestic manufacturing, government should encourage production of equally good quality medicine with low cost. This would help patients and domestic manufacturers.

The Indian government has taken a drastic step in the "Make in India" campaign to discontinue the customs duty exemption on some of the life saving drugs including the anti-Haemophilic factors that get imported from developed countries. This would result in increased prices of an already expensive drug. This is a life long disorder and the cost of the treatments would simply put the haemophiliacs and their family in deep financial and health crisis if the customs waiver is cancelled. A lot of people with haemophilia around the world are trying their best to create awareness and hopefully we will be heard by the Government.

Many citizens of India suffering from hemophilia are struggling to cope up with their medical expenses. India being a democratic and socialistic country , I would like the government to take back the decision of withdrawing the custom duty exemptions on hemophiliac drugs .

Every haemophilia should be aloud factor they did not ask to have this terrible disease factor is the only thing that will stope a bleed. People who are fit and well have factor 8 in their body's haemophilia has not got it in theirs so that is why they must have it pain is the worst thing you can have so come on give them factor please

This isn't just a matter of the economy. Several thousand lives hang in the balance. Don't get their blood on their hands, reverse this decision, govt of India.
