I went to Watkins when Mr. Taylor worked there and now am at a different school, I don't remember much, but I have find memories of him, him making sure I was doing ok, cheering me up and just being there for everyone. He was so helpful to everyone, and he worked especially with one of my friends and he obviously worked so hard and succeeded. I don't even know how to describe how great of an addition to the school he was. He was like our beacon of light. He can't be described by a score on a test, honestly, tests are boring.

Mr Curtis Taylor significantly contributes to the school community at CH Montessori at Logan. He is one of the reasons why our children have attended or are attending this school. Without him, the school will lose more than a school counselor-- it will lose some of the "glue" that ties us all together. The Webb Family

Without Curtis Taylor, my daughter would have never gotten the help and IEP that was necessary. Without his help, she would not be the honors student she is today. He is a great administrator and advocate for students and families.

Curtis Taylor was the most consistent and supportive ally the students of Watkins Elementary could ever have asked for, and while it was a setback to Watkins to lose him it was great to know that he continued that role for CHM@L students and families. Removing him breaks a chain of trust that must remain for these children and the community he loves.

I have been a student at this school since it first started, and Mr. Taylor was always there. Through the years he has been a great social worker and a great gardener.

Just curious about the new requirement. What is it? How soon were Social Workers informed about it before it was implemented? Were Social workers provided professional development support to meet the new standard.
