Coach Redemer is a family man, father figure and mentor to my son Naphtali Moi Moi. When my son found out the sad news of him not being able to play anymore, he went to school the next day with his head down and decided to leave because he just didn’t want to be around anyone. Redemer noticed he wasn’t in school and took the time out of his busy schedule to come to my home & see how he was doing because he (Redemer) had already known the news and understood that it must’ve been heartbreaking for him. The first thing he did was hug my son then told him to keep his head up. This is a coach who goes beyond to help the team succeed in the class room as well as out on the football field. This is a coach who cares. His football team is HIS FAMILY and he is THEIR FAMILY.

He is my English teacher now and he is the only teacher who keeps me motivated to stay in school and I can see how he takes care of his football team he loves them he keeps them on high tracks, with manners and grades. He is the best teacher I know it has to be unfair to his football team to strip them of the best coach Hayward high has had.

Coach redemer doesnt deserve this and i know that for a fact redemer was always there for me and is one of the reasons i start doing better because he always uplifted me. Redemer was a person i looked up to because he taught me a lot. I wish i listened to him last year because look where im at now. Redemer showed all of the players love and put his players before anything. Redemer treated us like we were his sons. He was more then a coach, he made the whole team feel like a family. He taught us right from wrong and he taught me so much and been there for me. Everyone that played for redemer knows. Redemer was always loved by everybody even if we were mad.

Redemer has been there ever since I joined hhs 10th grade. Treated me like a son, he pushed me to do better both in and off the field, I don’t want to be coached by anyone else.

I trained with the football team freshman and sophomore year, but unfortunately never got to play. Even so, Redemer helped me out. He looked out for his players and his students.

Mr. Redemer is one of the best personalities at HHS. A rational and caring person, he does NOT deserve anything wrong in this world. This decision only shows how dull Seymour is as a principal. Far worse things happen on campus, and THIS is his priority? Ridiculous. Bring Redemer back!!
