Shane is a great man, leader and coach... MSD has their priorities all jacked up. They will cut a great coach loose but keep a coach who drives a program into the ground and suck any and all ambition out of players in football. They fired the wrong coach maybe they thought P H I L was spelled S H A N E! Any program that has great students athletes wanting to quit midsession, not due to loses but verbal abuse needs to be looked at. Shane's team wants to be there, they show up early. He is a builder of men not a destroyer of them. MSD time to look outside of you bubble and accept the fact that a non local coach is the best coach for the job!!!! #reinstateShane

As the big brother to an MHS wrestler, I have seen the growth and development that have come to my brother as a direct result of the tutalage, vision, and passion of Coach Shane Needham. Coach Shane, affectionately addressed by the title in our home, has driven Pearce to be better, work harder, and see farther than ever before. I have seen my brother's passion for wrestling deepen and expand, and see it affect every aspect of his life. He lives and breathes it. And this is all due to Coach Shane.
It would be unwise and foolish to dismiss Mr. Needham, and lose such a fantastic athletic director for our youths.

Words cannot express on how much we love wrestling because of Coach Shane! The upstanding lessons and goals he sets for my boys will have life long effects on them, making each of them all around better citizens in their future communities. He makes them WANT to be better, to be selfless in their thoughts and actions. He promotes teamwork, togetherness, discipline, determination, and a 'never give up' mentality. All of these attributes will make my boys very successful adults. Wrestling wouldn't be the same without Coach Shane! Our Moscow wrestling community needs him!

Coach Needham is the best coach we have ever had working with our kids and we participate in lots of sports. He is self sacrificing, kind, dedicated, hard working and the role model we want for our boys as they grow older. He is what makes the program. Please reinstate him.

I'm reluctant to wrestle under anyone else. A great man or woman with vision for the future of the program should try to be found to coach every sport at the high school, not fired.
