He revamped the entire men's basketball program & turned it into a Winn team ... Going to the CIAA back to back and make it extremely far in the tournament.

Coach Hill was/is more than a coach. He was mentor, father figure, friend & etc to not just the athletic department but the campus as a whole. He made a TRUE difference and set the standard. He is a stand up gentleman who would execute everything he sought after. He turned the entire athletic department around. He encouraged all of the campus to come out and show support even in the toughest situations. Despite the current status he is someone who by far undeserving of this. He stood firm that he could help out to this department and did just that. This is a mistake that needs to be rectified swiftly. Coach Hill is "THAT" guy, by any means necessary.

The best barometer of a mans character is how he treats his wife. I have been Michele Hill's friend since 2010 when they arrived at Lincoln University . John Hill has been supportive and caring of his wife who left friends, family and career to support her husbands new venture as Head Coach. Through the ups and downs of a basketball season, recruiting, and rebuilding a basketball legacy at Lincoln University John Hill included his wife and valued her opinion. They are an example to the young men and women at Lincoln University what a strong and loving marriage can be! So I agree with all that has been said about John Hill with emphasis on how he has helped students outside of basketball!

Coach hill worked small miracles to get the Lincoln program competitive. The right thing would be to give him a raise not a letter of dismissal.

As a former student athlete at The Lincoln University (Baseball) and now a proud alum (May 2015) I can say with all honesty and certainty that coach Hill is the most successful coach in terms of victories and player graduation rate since coach Jones (Track & Field) and coach Kern (Former Women's Basketball Coach). Do it not register to the AD that winning isn't everything? Especially when an athletic team is barely given enough scholarship money to properly recruit and get the best athletes available? This guy practically won games every year with a bunch of "walk ons" who were more then deserving of a athletic scholarship but couldn't receive one due to lack of scholarship money. So instead they put their pride to the side and still committed to The Lincoln University not for scholarship purposes but because they seen the kind of positive impact coach Hill has had on his players both on and off the court. That's what should matter most. Yes winning is good, but guess what? Walking across that stage with a college degree in May is even greater. Let's not forget the ultimate goal which is to obtain a college degree and if my math serves me correctly, graduating 92% of your players over the years he's been the Head Coach is an (A-) in my book. The key grade was an (A). Which tells me that coach Hill is a grade (A) kind of coach and do what he can both on and off the court. Maybe just maybe it isn't the coaches that are the "problem" so to speak, clearly it's the AD. No AD on the face of this earth should care more about winning over a youth athlete receiving his or her college degree. Education is far more important than a sports game. Should any of these players come down with a horrific life changing injury (God forbid) and don't graduate then what's his or her next move? My point exactly you as like myself don't know and that should never be the case. Long story short if you want this man to "win" and bring home CIAA championships then the solution is simple. Give

Coach Hill single handedly turn the Lincoln Uninversity Men's basketball team around. He's mentored me and several others through what was a tough transition at Lincoln. I think if the opportunity is given he'd continue to take the program to new heights.

Reinstate Coach Hill! He is a damn good Coach and a much better man! At a time when so much is in a state of Flux at LU, it is imperative we do whatever is necessary to retain our dedicated staff members. Coach Hill is a more than qualified professional who not only has added to our beloved University, but took the time to learn, understand, and embrace our rich history and traditions. He has represented LU like a true lion, reinstate Coach Hill!

Coach hill brought a family vibe and culture to the LU men's basketball program. He was the type of mentor that made sure his sons/players were accountable and he showed us how to be young men
