This women impacted my high school experience so much she taught me how to be independent and strong willed, she deserves this position more than anyone. You won't find someone that cares for a team as much as her. She makes a family.

This is possibly the lowest I've ever seen Shadow Ridge go. Cheer was the best thing about that high school. And I have Briseno to thank for that. And so do all these girls. You take her away from this position and you can kiss a great cheer program goodbye.

I love coach and all she does for us, she is so dedicated and knows what she is doing, this is downright wrog and unfair for her to be punished this way, you are not only hurting her you are hurting the cheerleaders who attend Shadow Ridge

We believe our daughter was properly supervised at all times at all events and in all travel!

Please do not make coach Briseno a scapegoat for school failure to implement effective policy and/ or poor parenting. If anyone should lose their job, it is the activities director at SRHS. I have raised 6 children through 12 years each of public school and have never met a more dedicated, passionate teacher/coach. This decision is biased and unwarranted according to current practice within DUSD.

She couldn't be up and in visible contact with each girl 24 hours a day. She has been great with the girls, gave them plenty of self confidence to get good enough to make it to nationals. She deserves to be reinstated.

She is such a wonderful coach and played a huge part in the type of women my sister is today. To get rid of her would be a huge mistake as she cares for these students as her own. Please reconsider

I am currently a cheerleader at Grand Canyon University and Coach Briseno was my high school cheer coach at Shadow Ridge. She is the best coach anyone could ask for, she cares not only about cheer itself but puts her life into these athletes and I would not be where I am today, without her. Having gone to nationals all 4 years, Coach Briseno has always made sure the girls were safe & although there was not supervision at that time, those girls were in a safe environment that she was well aware of. It was not her fault those girls went off & made poor decisions. The fact that she is the one who is taking responsibility of this is absolutely ridiculous. Those cheerleaders look up to her and care for her inside and outside of cheer and letting her go is not going to do any justice.

This is so unfair and just not right at all. There is absolutely no reason to take this issue to this extent, especially when other sports follow the same regulations and the same concerns do not get voiced to them. I have never met a coach so dedicated to her team and student athletes, always putting them first before her own outside life. She dedicates hours a week to get her team where they want to be and pushes them because she believes in them. Coach Briseno would never do anything to put these girls in danger, nor would she ever risk it. Nothing she did is any different than any other team at shadow with this amount of people to be supervised. Nobody deserves this position more than she does. I truely believe you will not have a spirit line without Briseno as the coach.

My daughter made the wrong decision. This was nothing to do with lack of supervision. Admin approved the amount of chaperons.... They should be punished as well.
