Reinstate Bus Passes for All Magdalene Students

A 12 year old kid weighing 35kg carrying a 10kg bag for 2.9 km across major roads and through a busy industrial area does not make sense surely someone has some common sense

I support reinstating bus passes for all children travelling to magdalene catholic high school

The population and traffic levels have increased over the years . Safety is a bigger issue

I have serious concerns for the safety of my 12 year old daughter who would have to walk almost 3km to school on her own, crossing the road near an extremely busy roundabout before having to cross 6 lanes of traffic on a major road & then walking through an industrial area with heavy vehicle traffic...all during peak traffic periods. Please grant our children bus passes so they can travel safely to school.

Please issue our chikdren a bus pass for their safety I think you need to spedf a morning on Narellan road and Smeaton Grange to see for your self why parents are concerned for our children I dropped my child off to Magdalene on Friday anf the amount of semi trailers that were in the side street of the school was horrific my son turnedvaround anf said and they want us to walk to school.

Transparency of process must occur particularly where the safety of our children is concerned

all children should be able to get to school by bus on school days.

For the safety of our children please issue the bus passes

Please use some common sense this school is in an industrial estate and on a major road. It is too dangerous for the kids to walk, especially with extremely heavy school bags.

Our children's lives are at risk DOT need to come and walk in their shoes

Please visit the area and see that there is No safe way for our kids to walk to school.

Children are our future. Their safety is paramount.

Our kids safety is important. No one wants to hear of a child being hurt, injured or harassed whilst trying to get to or from school.

Although my children do not attend this school I regularly drive Narellan Rd, this road is not safe for kids to be crossing

Too many children will not take the time to walk to the lights and cross the road, they will be risking their lives and running across Narellan Road opposite Magdalene . I personally don't want to hear a child has gone under a truck because of this.

It is not safe for a our children to walk to/from school there is not footpaths on all streets or safe road crossings and having to negioate 6 lanes of busy traffic carrying a 15kg school bag in uncomfortalbe school shoes is madness, if you select a safe waling route in google maps it shows the walking routes well over the 2.9km that is deemed safe, please give our kids back there bus passes so that we kow they are getting home safe from school
