My children do not attend this school but I am very aware of the traffic and road system in the area and cannot comprehend the governments decision to recind bus passes for any student to MCHS

Bus passes must be returned to our children. Their bags weigh approx 9 kilos for starters. The roads are unsafe. Why should our children's safety be penalised because the government wants to cut costs.

Yet more government cost cutiing at the sake of struggling families. ALL children should have free transit passes. Please give up on treating education like a business!

This school is in an industrial area and there is a major road that they would have to cross.

This area is totally unsafe for any pedestrian traffic, let alone school children. This is an industrial area for goodness sake! It's dangerous at the best of times, but excessive speeding by heavy vehicle drivers around the school, makes it more so. Wake up whoever's responsible - I do not want to be conducting a funeral for one of these children! (Boyd Duncan, Kenneally's Funerals, Smeaton Grange)

All students need a safe way to arrive to & from school regardless of the distance travelled.

Six lanes of traffic, 80km/h zone, children crossing to get to an industrial estate, will they make it safely to school and home ? DOT= Yes , All others = NO. Lets hope common sense prevails.

Narellan Road is 80km/h zone and dangerous with heavy vehicles and traffic in peak hours. Many children will cut through the Caltex petrol station, which will be extremely unsafe for everyone.
