Dear Lamphere School Board Members, We the undersigned students, alumni and members of the Madison Heights and Lamphere Schools Community, petition you to reinstate Brian Frick as Page Middle School Social Studies teacher. Laying off Brian Frick demonstrates disregard for the students and for the community that firmly supports him. The entire community of Page Middle School finds Brian Frick to be an incredible source of support and mentorship. He was and will always be such an invaluable asset for everything he has done and all the lives he has touched. It is the School Board’s job to appoint teachers. We ask that you use your authority to correct this wrongful action and rehire Brian Frick. Lamphere Public Schools needs excellent teachers like Brian Frick. We also need School Board leadership that respects and engages the entire community, upholds the policies of the district, and makes decisions in an open and collaborative manner.
