Bobby is an excellent coach , and man on top of that. I played Base Ball with Bobby me as Catcher , and Him as Pitcher , and you get to know the character of a man under those circumstances , and Bobby is what you see , A number #1 man that Loves People and Sports.
God Bless You Bobby , and Praying The Lord Jesus Will - will be done in Jesus name , Amen. <3

Bobby has done nothing but give to Routt and OSS for many, many years. Someone who has put in as much time, effort and money as he has should be afforded the opportunity to go out on his own terms - not be railroaded by people with personal vendettas.

Bobby is the man for the job until he decides he's done coaching and shouldn't be decided by anyone else.

Fantastic coach and I enjoy watching him with the kids. He’s tough but supportive. Very dedicated to the boys. I’ve even seen him out watching his boys during the summer months on travel teams.

Bobby is a coach who encourages a winning attitude, especially at the age he/we coach at, I’m not for sure what coach wouldn’t? Even though that might be what he strongly markets his programs as, don’t let that be mistaken that that’s the only thing these student athletes will walk away with, I see it’s quite evident from the comments left by current/former players. A winning attitude builds the foundation for a team before you even play your first game, from there you will start building true characters out of the student athletes. Understand a coach may enforce a “we play to win” attitude but what you don’t hear or see is what is being said in the locker room after a loss or the HOURS of practice, sacrifice, effort, and care we show to our players. All of that has to be condensed into a 1-2hr period where it’s on display for everybody to judge. If you hear a coach yell, frustrated, or perhaps negative towards a player it’s because we expect the best out of them and sometimes we have to go to extremes to get a point across. What you don’t see/hear is the coach picking them back up in the dugout or locker room.
As a current coach at OSS, we are aware we coach a variety of student athletes. Some who dedicate themselves to the sport, some who just enjoy the sport, some who enjoy being a part of a team and playing with friends, and some whose parents force them to play who may have no background in the sport in question or any athletics in general. I strongly suggest to any parents who may have concerns with the coach/program, that before you make any hastily decisions, you allow your child to be coached for a better portion of the season if not all, and then sit down with your child and ask him/her how they feel about the coach/team. I can almost guarantee, the child will have had a positive experience and will have grown not just within the sport, but as a person too.
