Dear West Penn Power, this man almost died for you and your customers, and you fire him when he is capable of still doing his job. I think you are really messing up! Obviously you don't know him or his families work ethics or better yet know him at all. But of course how could you when send some "nurse" to consult him. Be real men and go visit him yourself. Put yourself in the situation that he was in and NOW is in! Seriosly! When you all sit down at Christmas this year I hope that you and your staff are sickened by the decision you made. But, then again, you all will probably never read this because important people don't give a crap about REAL people!

this is an awful display of professionalism & your family needs to get a lawyer in this to assist as there seem to be a lot of HR violations / Workers Comp violations as well.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sign this petition, Billy is down and feels broken, I do believe if he knows people beside me are behind him he will heal faster. He realizes how much I love him, and I would do anything for him, today was a really bad day, I have cried at home, cried at work and prayed a lot. He called me last night and said he should be the one working not me and he was crying it broke my heart in two. He needs to heal but he would heal so much better if he knew he had a job to go back to. Thank you all again!!!!

I Have worked in the Power industry for twelve years with voltages up to 500,000 volts. These companies are ultimately responsible for protecting their workers. Furthermore, they rush you through training, just to get you signed off on qualifications. Just so they can use it against you in case of an accident. Some companies do not follow the proper LOTO Laws and pencil whip the documentation. The term "Qualified Individual" in respect to these laws are sometimes just someone who has taken an "online" Computer Base Training course so as an end result, the skilled worker is affected.
