Please bring them back, this is also a chance for new students to get used to aics and their peers. When i was new I learned about my whole grade but that was only possible because of the back to school trip, since then we all get super close

I do agree to move to May the back school trips but not to eliminate them. They are an essential part of learning, growing and bonding. However if the school is not willing to do them, we as parents, expect the reimbursement of the money. We hope you understand that we can’t pay for something our children are not getting.

MYP1 and MYP2 still get their back to school trips. How come this doesn't disrupt them going back to school?

The parents or school community were not consulted about this. We do not agree with the cancellation. Re-instate back to school trips!

Back to school trips are a rare opportunity for students of AICS to make new friendships and strengthen the existing ones. The trips allow many to step out of their comfort zone since the social environment is more relaxed and less stressful than what students experience on regular school days. Back to school trips serve the purpose of gradually yet effectively helping the students adjust to the beginning of the upcoming school year and the challenges the latter brings. Not only do these trips allow students to create unforgettable memories with their peers, they also make a great learning experience, regardless of the management's refusal to believe so. Taking these trips away would truly be foul to AICS students.

It is really unfair to people who want to get in touch and new students who haven't blended in their class to cancel the back-to-school trips. For MYP1 and 2 it is terrible, but we laugh at how bad the trips were and grow closer. it's not about where we're going, it's about bonding and deepening friendships over excursions and not school work.
