Ashley Behrens took the Brookhaven Shelter and transformed it from a shelter where dogs got sick and we’re put to sleep to a healthy, clean and well run no kill shelter with an impeccable reputation. If they don’t take her back, the shelter will suffer, the animals will suffer and the shelter will return to its’ previously disasterous and embarrassing state.
