This shelter needs Ashley, I have volunteered with this shelter for over 35 years, When Irene Brown was director. Ashley has been the best director I have ever dealt with in all those years. To lose her would only make this shelter go backwards when she has done so much to improve it.

Since I've been a volunteer there for 8 years. I have seen the best changes happen when Ashley became director. The animals are treated the best they can. Cleaningness
Improved 100%. Morale changed within the employees. She's the best director the shelter will ever see. She really cares about every animal there.

I have known Ashley since she worked at my bet’s office. She was gentle and kind towards all of my dogs, and from I have seen, she responds the same way to all the little homeless companions at the shelter. Bring her back.

When it comes to saving unwanted animals it takes a special person to do this job. Without someone with knowledge and heart to run a shelter, animals in a shelter suffer. Please keep this woman in charge. The people who are making budget cuts should spend a day or 2 in her shoes. Then they will realize how important this role is.

The town has failed the best director that Brookhaven has ever had. For the welfare of the animals in the entire township and shelter, please reinstate her immediately.
