People on cruise ships were taken care of so why not our sailors? I applaud Captain Crozier for taking care of the sailors under his command. Funny that he was fired by the secetary of the Navy and not any of the admirals in his chain of command, why is this? I am terribly disappointed this has come this far. My whole family are veterans and they're disappointed too. This needs fixing ASAP!

As a Navy veteran I find it shameful that Captain Crozier lost command of his ship. This needs to be fixed.

When a captain goes to great lengths to protect his crew I say damn your chain of command. The chain would have just buried this. Reinstate Capt. Crozier and apologize.

From: Gold, Michael, Theodore
U.S.M.C. Brat (Retired)
Subject: Relived of Command
Effective meditatively you are relived of command.
My farther; Gold, Theodore U.S.M.C. (Dec. 11, 1941 WWII and 1950-51 Korean War. (Three Purple Hearts.) Did not almost die two times so that you could make stupid decisions, that would get people killed, like firing the Captain of a ship; and then go and do what he suggested in the first place.
