Andrew has always supported the residents at Gibson court and was a godsend when a planning application was made to change an office into flats overlooking our communal garden. We only have to ask for help and Andrew will always be there for us.

Andrew has worked tirelessly and made himself known in the community, unlike the other two Councillors for the ward who though maintain a low profile, for some reason have been reselected.

The local Conservative group are doing the local community a great
disservice if they de-select Andrew
Curtin who has a wealth of local knowledge on ou local parks and
and open spaces and of all the present councillors appears to believe in giving his time and knowledge to assist the local community, it would seem to us
that the new younger element in
the Conservative party do not wish
to have any of the older well respected Councillors re-elected

Andrew has worked tirelessly for the allotment societies in havering and would be a great loss to us all, he must be reinstated.

I am appalled at the way this local authority operates in such an undemocratic manner Andrew is one of the best Councilors we have and have had and also one of the most intelligent.

Andrew has worked tirelessly to preserve, conserve and enhance the heritage and history of Havering. He has been an inspiration with his expertise, enthusiasm and dedication in driving forward activities that have proved invaluable to the community. The treatment he has received is a disgrace and brings dishonour to the Conservative Party and whoever is responsible for this decision. Reinstate Andrew now...or suffer the consequences at the next election!

My wife, Ann, supports this petition. If he is not re-instated I see no reason to support the Conservative party in any future elections.

How an inexperienced youth can be selected over an experienced responsive councillor , who is respected enough to be selected to serve as a cabinet member is disgusting,, and shames the Association officers at Margeret Thatcher House

Judith Holt, and her accomplices have acted in a mendacious way to insert favourites of the MP into positions held by far more experienced proven and accomplished Councillors, severely abusing the conduct of the selection process to do so; not least they abjectly refuse to answer specific questions on the conduct of this process, which speaks for itself.

Andrew is hardworking, accessible,
intelligent and has worked hard to
improve culture in Havering (which
certainly needs it)

Andrew Curtin continues to service Havering and all constituents, he remembers who people are and is helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He has a long record of achieving things and is not afraid to stand up and be counted. Whilst I am all for young people coming through, the youngster who is replacing Andrew is not worthy of election.

Andrew has provided an excellent service to Havering, his intellect, and passion for the arts and culture has been truly invigorating for the communities.
Equally has a good understanding of mental health issues and is not afraid to speak out in front of opposition.
He has maturity, experience, and an understanding for progress and youthfulness, great qualities for a councillor.
The young 23 year olds which have been elected to run for office in his place cannot hold a candle to him.
Both my wife and I have resigned from the conservative party and want to see his reinstatement as a demonstration that constituents are listened to.

Andrew is a hands on councillor and the residents owe him much thanks for his devotion and involvement with Havering's many parks and open spaces and our libraries and culture in general. A hard act to follow.

Andrew Curtin serves the community unlike himself, which is different from those who currently run the Romford Association. It is a great loss to the community, Andrew and I believe that he is irreplaceable and this is very sad that he has got deselected and we hope that the intervention form the Conservative Central Office will force him to be re-instated.

Andrew is a very caring and hard working person and should be reinstated as a Conservative candidate immediately. I can see people dropping the Conservatives and voting against the party if this ridiculous situation is allowed to carry on.

Andrew Curtin is great person and a great councillor. As a councillor he is respected by people of all races and colour. I am of Indian origin and I have always found him to be kind understanding and very helpful. He should be reinstated as a candidate for 2014 Local elections

When I heard that Councillor Andrew Curtin has been deselected as a candidate for 2014 local elections I was very upset. He is an asset as a councillor to the wide community of Havering and should be reinstated as a candidate for 2014 local elections

Andrew is one of the few councillors who really makes a difference. He is never too busy to visit a school or an event and to deselect him is ridiculous!
