Reinstate Agent Rosa Linares

For many parents at PS 24, Rosa has been the caring face of PS 24.

Not having Rosa is a tremendous loss to the school, and our children.

Please Rosa Back. Do what is best for the children.

We would like to have our Security Agent Rosa Linares back ASAP.

Very little gets by Ms Rosa when she is at her post. She keeps the school safe and keeps the entrance/exit flow moving. I do believe if there were a true emergency, more children and adults would be safe due to Ms. Rosa. Obviously, something happened and the families are not being informed. Considering her upstanding reputation, is this really fair to her and to the children of PS24. ??

Ms. Linares is such an integral part of P.S.24, its absurd that this is even happening to her.

Agent Linares is the most important figure for our children at the front door of PS24. She has been professional and supportive for my children one of whom graduated 2 years ago and the other is currently in second grade. This removal without explanation is unprofessional and distressing for the children's coping capacity emotionally.

Unless she resigned or retired in a decision that was exclusively made by her, Ms. Rosa must be brought back. In addition, a reason for her dismissal must be given to this tight-knit community which counts her as a very important member.

Bring Rosa back!

Rosa is a wonderful asset to the school. My kids and I benefit greatly from her presence.

Last week one day, while I was getting my child 5 minutes early for her doctor's appointment, there was no one at the security desk when I walked out of school front door with her. Ms. Rosa would've never let this happen on her watch.

The children have been very disturbed by Rosa Linares' abrupt removal. The lack of information regarding this change has only worsened the situation. She is irreplaceable. She knows the parents, the children by name, grade, classroom , a task that is near impossible with our overflowing student body (>1000); she provides us all with a sense of security and stability that allows the children to learn and parents to go to work or carry on their day... It is incomprehensible why such a drastic maneuver was even undertaken!

Ms Rosa clearly protects the safety of our school.

This is just shameful, I am very disappointed, and once again the parents are the last to know.

I had two children ar PS 24. My experience with Rosa demonstrated that she was a very caring, very diligent, very professional security officet who went above and beyond to help children at PS 24. I can't imagine why she would've been removed. If officials can't make clear why she was removed she should be reinstated immediately.

The parents deserve an explanation. Bring Rosa back. It is upsetting that she was removed, being the one constant in a school that has seen so much upheaval this year. She is so respected and well loved by all. There is no one else in that school that knows every child by name, their families and care givers. She need to come back.

Rosa is a wonderful person and has been at ps 24 for many years. She knows the students well amd they adore her. She makes everyone feel safe and secure. The school needs her back asap. It's unfair for the students to not have her there anymore.

Please give us Rosa back. She is like a mother to all of our children.

We need her reinstated immediately. Our kids need her.

We love her! Bring her back!
