I am a grandmother from New Jersey who has been picking up my grandchild from school regularly for the past four years - I would never have been able to this without the instructions from Rosa, as the staff of the school administration is non-responsive and can never provide an answer to a question. Rosa, on the other hand, is always smiling and knows the children, where I should go to pick up a sick child even when the nurse's office is closed, where the book fair is being held and how I can get to it, and where I should bring items for displaced residents of Sandy's storm and when is the bake sale and where can I get the form, and I could go on and on. She maintains order is a firm but kind way in the halls. Even a grandmother has benefited from her help. School should be a warm caring place for our children who have so much to deal with on a daily basis - Rosa provided this as the first person our kids meet when they enter the school . And how come there is only one telephone listing for PS 24, which rings forever and never once has bas been answered in the years I have attempted to reach someone in the office? We should value Rosa, not throw her away and deprive our kids of such a caring person.

Rosa Linares is a valuable member of our school community. She goes above and beyond to ease the school experience for both, children and parents. As a parent and an educator, I know how important it is for a child to feel safe and nurture in school. Those are only some of the gifts that Rosa Lonares brings to our school community. She refers to every single child by their name while offering them a warm welcome every morning. My three children ask about her constantly. Ps 24 is not the same place without her. Please help us maintain some stability in our school. The children had already had enough changes to deal with with the sudden absence of our principal. Please bring her back.

School is the second home for our children , we need stability and someone whom has demonstrate love and care like officer linares. It's enough not having a principal in the middle of the year. What can be spect next. I dont believe there Was any explanation to the removal of linares. Kids are asking questions and parents don't have information to answer . The school is not a game . Please think about our kids before any decision is made . We need her back

As a parent of an autistic child it is extremely important to me to feel my child is safe at school. Rosa has made my son feel safe for many years. She knows him and my family by our names which not many parents can say about their kids school security guard. Ps24 is a wonderful school and rosa was a huge part of making it as great of a school as it is. Please bring rosa back for our children and our pieces of mind.

We demand better transparency and communication. Rash decisions such as the removal of our beloved Rosa only has negatively impacted the emotional state of our children. Please bring sense of constant to our kids by bringing Rosa back.
