As great at Mike Richards is, David Bastl makes the morning show that much better!

David Bastl was an asset to the morning show. An intelligent and informed analyst who is up to date with current technologies and events I know Dave will find work else where Rogers will be dumb to not scoop him up but Bell will be more dumb to let such a talent leave and go to work for the competition.

A.M, radio is slowly decreasing in popularity. This is a slow but eventual process that no fan wants to think of.
To prolong that its eventual demise, media conglomerates should be working hard to "listen" to their listeners and continue employing those that engage with their loyal followers.
David Bastl is the perfect example of this.
The balance he brings to the morning show, coupled with his unbridled knowledge, makes him an instant fan favorite among listeners.
If you can't keep the listeners engaged, they won't stay on that dial for long.
