This is a petition asking the New York McDonalds to rehire the employee that was falsely terminated for defending himself. Consider this, he was attacked for verifying if currency being used was authentic, which was store policy. He was slapped prior to the two attackers jumping the counter, which shows their propensity for violence, and their intent. He did not know if they had a knife or other weapon, so he took appropriate action to defend himself from two people that clearly showed they were capable of violence. He only continued hitting them after he advised them to stay down, and they kept attempting to get up. The employee did not know if these women were armed, and he was not responsible for finding out. The fact is two clearly violent people attacked a person for following McDonald's company policy. The employee was fired for defending himself from this attack. Please rehire this employee, considering he was attacked for doing his job.
