I heard from someone today that the administration is acting like this is just a minor personnel issue but it really feels like they are throwing away years of trust with the entire track program. My head is honestly spinning from all the emails people are sending me about how Coach Ables helped them through their own rough patches because he really did care about more than just the race times.

absolute joke. coach ables is a legend at carmel. fix this.
Coach Ables is the reason I even stayed in school. He pushed us hard but he actually cared. This is a huge mistake.
My son loved being on his team. He taught those boys how to be men. You dont just fire someone like him for no reason.
Been watching the team for years and he created a real culture there. Carmel wont be the same without him.
He helped me with my math homework more then my actual teachers did. Such a good man. Rehire him now.
