As long as I've known Angie, I've always admired her passion and commitment to her job. She always does what ever she can with her whole heart into her job. It just doesn't seem to make any sense why she would lose her position. I implore you too re-think and reinstate Angie. I can't imagine anyone could fill her shoes.

I've know Angie for many, many years. She has ALWAYS been an animal lover. Why would you not hire someone with her experience, credentials, and passion??? Those qualities are very hard to find!! She works endless hours and takes these babies home with her. Her job never ends!!! She speaks for the animals who would not otherwise have a voice.

Angie is amazing. She is unwavering in her devotion to our animals and our Parish. We were lucky to have such a passionate person in this demanding position. We need her back!!!

I was City Attorney for the City of Irving, Texas for twenty-nine years and knew many directors of animal control during that time. I have known Angie Robert for the last ten years as a result of her awesome work during and after Hurricane Katrina when she rescued and saved so many helpless animals. Ms. Robert has been an exceptional Director of Animal Control and it would be a shame to lose the services of such a valuable public servant whose life has been devoted to helping save the lives of thousands and thousands of helpless dogs and cats. President Cochran, please, please reconsider your decision not to rehire Ms. Robert.

Angie has done an incredible job of building the shelter and Animal Control into the fine organization that it is today. She is a wonderful, caring and compassionate person, who does an exceptional job.

This is absolutely appalling Mr. Cochran! Are you not aware of everything she has done for this parish? Have you not read your local newspaper to see all the articles written about her? She has put a tremendous about of hard work, sweat and love into getting the new shelter built; not to mention all the animals she has rescued, saved, loved and found loving homes for. As a resident of St. Rose I am not understanding this action. Angie Robert needs to be reinstated immediately! Nothing else is acceptable.
