This Rehabilitation Facility is a great need for our community. Shame on the zoning planning committee for putting a hold on something that is a vital need in this community.

These addicts need a place to go if they decide to get clean. A lot are afraid to go soo far away for help for a long time.

We NEED this in martinsburg ! There's SO many people with an addiction problem in martinsburg and no help for those who want it! Yes we have East Ridge but it's a month wait, and they go to a group to receive Suboxone strips to substitute the high. Its an epidemic and destroying martinsburg.

This is something this is very much so needed. I too suffer from addiction. There are no enough places for someone to go to when they decide to put an end to abusing drugs. I waited a year and a half to get into a program. Not many people can hold off and wait. People are reaching out for our help. Let's extend our arms and reach them back.

I support the implementation of this rehab center. The heroin and opiate/opioid (i.e. painkillers) addiction in West Virginia is the one of the worst in the country. According to the Center for Disease Control, in 2014, "Alabama, Tennessee, and West Virginia in particular – had the most painkiller prescriptions per person." (http://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2014/p0701-opioid-painkiller.html) Therefore, in order to treat narcotic dependence and alcohol abuse, et al., this rehabilitation center should take top priority over any zoning issues. It would be a crime against the people who need this help not to establish this facility.
