The noise is very disruptive and cannot be tolerated, this is just wrong.

Can get very noisy while people are trying to sleep.

I don't think it would be too much to ask that work (and the attendant noise) be suspended for at least 8 hours at night when the sound seems to carry farther and sound louder.

The constant banging and beeping throughout the night shows great disregard for the residents of Corner Brook, and has made it impossible to sleep through the night. A lack of restful sleep has a negative impact on the health of nearby residents, and affects quality of life over time. This needs to be brought to an end as soon as possible.

The constant beeping of the boom trucks and banging of the containers on the wharf make it impossible for us to watch tv in the evenings and sleep at night. Even with our windows closed in the evenings and at night, it is impossible to drown out the noise. Now with the summer heat upon us and the windows closed, we now have to live with the noise and the sweat from the heat. We pay our taxes just like every other resident of Corner Brook so we deserve to have peace and quiet at night.

The beeping and clanging, slamming and banging have created bedlam...sometimes 24 hours a day, sometimes beginning late at night...Even with windows and doors closed we cannot enjoy music or TV.
To emphasize what is stated in our petition, there is significant sleep disruption and disturbance of the peace. The negative effect on property values is of
very serious consequence to property owners.

Exchanges have started between the condominium corporations the city and the port corporation since May 27th, 2020 and to date very little progress has been made, this petition is the next logical step for concerned owners, tenants and area residents to be heard from directly

Its an unreasonable amount of noise at a unreasonable hour. Regulation is a necessity.

The noise is unacceptable. I am a full time worker and the loud noise at 2 and 3 in the am is unbearable. 3 nights in a row I was up looking out my window watching and hearing the work going on at the port. Had to start work myself at 8:30 with very little sleep.
