Regularisation - Residency And Belonger Status

Needs a comprehensive study first and the involvement of our people

We must protect what is our RIGHTFUL heritage. Rushing and haphazardly announcing “Citizenship/Belongership for all” will allow for complete chaos in the BVI. Not to mention, force all current citizens and belongers to be a second class in their own home. If you are a TRUE BVIslander, then you would see this is NOT beneficial for us, or our territories best interest! I call for a cease and desist to this “Clear Path Regularisation”.

Let us measure twice and cut once..this is to important to go in a mad rush. Unless the Honourable has a good unmentioned reason .

As a concerned BVIslander, we must have a voice in the direction of OUR land.

I have no problem with this but why rush this through?

The Premier did not bring this thing to the people first. A heap of people taking advantage of this thing, and I heard a lot of Caucasians too. This is going to edge on the UK to say fix our people too. What the Premier should be focusing on is the answer to the UK when they say we must do away with Belongership and give their people same rights like my grand children them. Tell the Premier to be proactive, not reactive or he will take this country down the wrong path.

Help our BVI stop see things clearly before moving forward., In God we trust.

We old people want our children and grand children to live in peace, not for all sorts of thrushies flying over their heads picking them and taking away their heritage from them.

There should have been a referendum. In addition you nerd to vett these people. This was not done with BVIslanders in mind but to get more votes. It is also a violation of the constitution. This will weaken the BVI and prevent us from easy access to the US and other countries.

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything! Together let's make a stand for good governance, where common sense is the common denominator of all decisions being made.
