We the undersigned want the Guildford School of Acting and in turn The University of Surrey to reassess the grades of the Professional Development Files in line with the original criteria and guidance given to this years (2013) third year students. And to offer empirical evidence of this reassessment demonstrating consistency through the marking. Ensure that each student is given objective and detailed reasoning behind their grade in line with the original criteria. This is important because it affects the overall degree mark of the graduating class of 2013 which in turn affects future career prospects.

Updates

July 24, 2013

The administration has acknowledged the petition and we are currently finalizing a formal request for a meeting with the department heads. We expect to present the collected concerns regarding the assessment discrepancies by the end of the week.

The grading was totally unfair and inconsistent across the board. We worked way too hard for this nonsense.
