My niece, Amelia Collymore, a member of the class of 2020 is now working as an ultrasound technician at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. I think that the class of 2020 deserves an in person graduation. They have earned that privilege as they worked hard under trying circumstances to graduate.

Regis College MUST find away for these students to walk- they earned it, they deserve it. The decision is too soon- wait until April! These students stood by Regis through the cockroach infestation, on line learning, moving out mid semester, no spring break. ITS TIME REGIS STEPS UP!!!!! Please reconsider this decision. The kids deserve to walk!!!

Terrible decision canceling this early. These kids deserve for Regis to go the extra mile. Have it out on the soccer field and social distance. These kids have lost so much. They are in the nursing program and are front line workers.

These people worked their butts off for this and they more than deserve a graduation ceremony. Masks and social distancing will do the trick.

College is a huge investment of time, money and so much more. I understand the magnitude of this pandemic. But it is possible to make a graduation safe, even if it gets pushed back again. These students have worked so hard and have earned a proper send off.

My friends who are nurses have worked so hard to be accomplish this and deserve an in person ceremony! For reference, other colleges such as UMass Lowell are working towards in person ceremonies for 2021 after the severe backlash from last years online commencement. It can be done, with covid safe adjustments of course, but is WORTH the efforts for students!

I would be in favor of smaller groups. Perhaps by majors?

My girlfriend attends Regis College and Ive seen how hard her and her friends have worked buidling up to nursing school graduation. As a recent college graduate myself this past fall, I know how important graduation is and how much it means to students, especially in a challenging major. With that said, I feel as though an in person graduation or some form of it is necessary and it is very possible to do so since most student there have likely been vaccinated as healthcare workers and everybody can simply keep a mask on at graduation. Thank you for your acknowledgement and consideration.
